Getting Here

• Your flight should be booked to Anchorage, AK, Ted Stevens International Airport. 
  

• We will pick you up.
  

• Once you land, your gear will be assessed. If anything is needed or missing, supplies can be bought in town.
  

• Before you arrive we will be in contact. If the weather is poor you may have to stay a night in town. There are a number of good hotels. I will give you my recommendation.
  

• We will depart from Birchwood airport in a Cessna 185 or Super Cub. Flight time is 40 minutes to an hour. 
  

• Transport to any of the smaller airports will be arranged at no cost to you. 
  

• Once you have landed, there will be a hike to the campsite that has already been set. I take a lot of time in the off season to scout and will have been to the area before you arrive to set camp and scout.
  

• We sleep in, top of the line “pup” tents. Kuiu, Hilleberg, or Samsaya.
